The Insurance screen allows you to enter, or edit the insurance, assignment, and loss information. The Insurance Information section includes a droplist selection that allows you to view insured or claimant information depending on how the workfile is set up.
The Assignment section displays the assignment insurance company name and claim office. The Claim Type droplist provides the ability to change the type of claim and also indicates which database you can use. The default claim type is Vehicle. Selecting this claim type allows you access to the MOTOR database when writing an estimate.
Note: Changing the claim type will delete all existing Vehicle and Estimate Line information.
